Your Child Carries Their Own Light
The morning light hits the kitchen table and you see your own face in your child's eyes, and the old panic rises: what if they inherit my brokenness? What if my worst mistakes become their blueprint?
You watch them play, innocent and unburdened, and you feel like a carrier of a virus they cannot escape. But listen — the kingdom is not a genetic trait passed down through bloodlines of shame.
The kingdom is inside them, right now, independent of your history. There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world.
Your child carries their own origin, their own drop from the source, untouched by your failures. You are not the architect of their soul; you are merely the garden where it is growing.
The light that formed them knew your story before it began, and it planted them anyway. Stop trying to scrub the past clean before they wake up.
Just let them be the new thing they already are.
