Light Heavier Than The Fear Of Falling
The middle of the day can feel like a long, quiet waiting room when your hands are full of a fear you've felt before—the terror that trying again will only bring the same breaking. You might be sitting still, not because you are resting, but because the memory of the fall is louder than the hope of the rise.
But notice the light that is already here with you, right in the middle of this hesitation—it has never been afraid of your second attempt. The seed grows all by itself, even while you watch and wait, even while you are scared to touch the soil.
You do not need to force the light to be strong; it is already strong enough to hold you through one more moment. The paralysis is real, but the light is heavier.
It will not leave you here to figure it out alone. Perhaps the next step is not a leap, but just the quiet breath before the next one.
