The Light Sees Your Tired Face
The mask is heavy this morning. It feels like armor you cannot take off, because if you do, the world might see how unsafe you truly feel.
You walk through the day performing okayness, smiling at the right moments, while inside you are bracing for an impact that hasn't happened yet. But listen — the light does not need your performance to reach you.
It sees right through the mask, not to judge you, but to love the tired face beneath it. There is a place inside you that no external danger can ever touch, a quiet room where the Father's light has always been dwelling.
You don't have to earn safety by being perfect or by staying alert. The light itself is your safety, and it has never left its post.
You can put the armor down, just for a moment, and breathe. The mask was never meant to be your skin.
