You Are Held Beyond Your Scarcity
The afternoon sun is high, and the shadows are short, but the weight in your chest feels heavier than the heat. You are doing the math again—counting what you have against what you need, and the numbers do not add up.
The fear whispers that you are running out of time, that the ground is slipping beneath your feet. But look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.
Are you not much more valuable than they? The light does not calculate your worth based on your balance.
It sees you. It knows the exact number of hairs on your head and the precise depth of your worry.
You are held in a care that exceeds your ability to earn it. The anxiety says you must scramble to survive.
The truth says you are already fed.
