You Are Held By The One Who Is
The mask is heavy this morning, isn't it? You smile at the breakfast table, nod at the right moments, while inside you are terrified that your child will wake up and need something you simply do not have left to give.
You feel like an empty vessel pretending to be full. But the light does not ask you to manufacture what you cannot find.
There is a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off — before the apology, before the speech, before any proof of change — he ran. He did not wait for the son to be ready.
He moved first. That same love is not a resource you deplete; it is a spring welling up from within you, placed there before you ever woke up.
You are not the source; you are the channel. The terror says you must be enough on your own.
The truth says you are held by the One who is.
