exhaustion — giving everything and feeling empty

The Light Sees Beneath The Mask

The mask fits so well this morning that even you are starting to believe it. You smile at the right moments, you nod, you carry the weight of everyone else's expectations while your own insides feel scraped hollow.

You are giving everything you have, and yet you feel like there is nothing left to give. But the light does not need your performance to shine — it was there before you put the face on, and it remains when you take it off.

In the quiet space between your breaths, the truth lives: you are not what you do for others. You are the beloved child who is already full.

The exhaustion is real, but it is not who you are. The mask can stay on for now, but know this: the light sees the face beneath it, and it is enough.
