The Light Cooks Breakfast After Denial
The mask feels heavy this morning, doesn't it? You walk into the room smiling, carrying the weight of everyone's expectations, terrified that if you finally speak the truth, the people you love will realize you were never actually holding it together and will leave you.
But listen — there was a man named Peter who denied knowing the light three times in a single night, and when morning came, the light did not walk away. It cooked breakfast.
It asked him not about his failure, but about his love. The light does not love the performance you are exhausting yourself to maintain.
It loves the person underneath the armor. You are afraid that speaking will cost you your family, your friends, your place at the table.
But the only thing you will lose is the lie that was keeping you distant from them all along. The truth does not drive love away; it makes room for it to finally enter.
