The Light Fits in the Hollow
The mask feels heavy this morning, doesn't it? You smile at the right moments, you nod, you perform the version of yourself that everyone expects to see.
But underneath, there is a hollow space, and you are terrified that if anyone truly looked inside, they would see the emptiness and walk away. So you hold the smile a little tighter.
You keep the distance. Yet the light does not ask for your performance—it asks for your presence.
The true light gives light to everyone, not just the polished parts, but the hidden cracks where you feel most alone. It shines on the hollow space first, because that is exactly where the light fits.
You do not have to fill the gap before you are loved. The light sees the mask, sees the fear, and stays.
What you think is a reason to be abandoned is actually the very place where you are held.
