Rest Where the Light Holds You
The mask feels heavy this morning, doesn't it? You smile at the coffee table, you nod at the right moments, terrified that if you stop performing, the love will stop too.
You believe your partner loves the version of you that never gets tired, the one who never needs to sit down. But there is a rest that was made for exactly this kind of weariness.
The light does not love the performance; it loves the person underneath the armor. It knows the weight you carry before you even lift it.
You do not have to earn the right to be exhausted. The light sees the fatigue behind your eyes and calls it holy.
Your tiredness is not a reason to be abandoned; it is the very place where you are held.
