Holy Is The Habit Of Love
The kettle whistles, and your hand reaches for two mugs before the silence catches you. One is for the ghost of a routine, the other for the empty chair where a voice used to be.
You pause with the second cup hovering in the air, and the weight of it suddenly feels too heavy to hold. In that quiet suspension, the light does not scold you for the mistake or rush to fill the space with noise.
It simply waits with you in the exhale, honoring the love that still flows even when there is no one left to serve. The Father sees this small, unconscious act of caring and calls it holy, not because it was useful, but because it was yours.
