You Are the Room Already Full
The house is so quiet right now that the silence feels like an accusation. You are afraid that if you finally stop moving, stop performing, stop making noise for everyone else, the stillness will reveal a terrible truth: that there is no one home inside you.
That you are just an empty shell holding up a shape. But listen.
The silence you fear is not emptiness. It is the space where the light has been waiting for you to stop talking so it can finally speak.
You do not have to generate the presence. You only have to stop hiding it behind your noise.
The light was there before the first performance, and it remains when the curtain falls. You are not the actor.
You are the room itself, already full.
