Stay When the Mask Falls
The house is quiet now, but your mind is replaying the moment you saw their shoulders drop. That split second when they thought no one was looking, and the weight they carry for both of you finally pulled them down.
You saw the exhaustion they hide so you don't have to. In that moment, you felt helpless.
But notice what happens when you stop trying to fix it and just sit with them in the dim light. The Father sees what is done in secret.
He sees the love in your silence, the love in your watching, the love that refuses to look away even when the armor comes off. You do not need to lift their shoulders for them.
You only need to be the one who stays when the mask falls. The light is not a spotlight that demands performance; it is the quiet presence that says: I see you, and I am not leaving.
