The Light Runs Before You Speak
The house is quiet now, but your mind is loud with the words you swallowed. You chose silence because the truth felt too messy to speak, and now you are watching the背影 of the one you love fade into the dark.
You think your silence protected them. It only isolated you both.
But listen — the light does not require a perfect confession to stay close. There is a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off.
He did not wait for the speech to be rehearsed. He ran.
Before the apology, before the explanation — he ran. The distance you feel right now is not a verdict.
It is just the space between where you are and where the light is already running to meet you. You do not have to fix the mess before you are loved.
You only have to stop hiding in the dark. The night is long, but the light knows the way back.
