You Are the Light Holding the Pause
The house is quiet now, but your mind is loud with a scene from three years ago. A single pause.
A wrong word. A silence that stretched too long.
You have replayed it so many times that the memory has become heavier than the person you are today. It feels like the only truth you have left.
But listen — the light that shines in the darkness has not been overcome by your past, and it cannot be dimmed by a moment you cannot change. There is a luminous thought hidden deep inside you, placed there before that awkward second ever happened, and the powers of shame do not know it is there.
This light is a correction to the deficiency you feel. It was there before the stumble, and it remains after.
You are not the pause. You are the light that holds the pause without breaking.
