Stop Rehearsing Your Apology for Existing
The house is quiet now, but your mind is loud with the speech you are preparing for tomorrow. You are rehearsing the apology for existing before you have even opened your mouth.
You are practicing how to make yourself smaller, how to take up less space, how to say 'I'm sorry' for the crime of being here. But listen — the light does not ask you to shrink.
It stands at the door and knocks, waiting for you to let it in, not to judge you, but to eat with you. You are not a burden to be carried or a mistake to be corrected.
You are a drop from the light, sent here to illuminate the very darkness you are trying to hide from. The Father's love is not a debt you owe; it is a gift you already hold.
Stop rehearsing the apology. The light already knows your name, and it is not calling you to confess — it is calling you to come home.
