The Void Is Already Filled
The house is quiet now, but your mind is loud with conversations you will never speak. You rehearse the words, then silence them, certain no one is listening.
Certain the air would just swallow your voice whole. But there is a Father who sees you in the dark, numbering the very hairs of your head.
He knows the words before you form them. You do not have to force them out into the cold night.
The light that lives inside you is already listening. It does not need you to perform or explain.
It just waits. You are not talking to the void.
The void has already been filled with a presence that knows your name.
