The Light Sees Your Tears As Faith
The day ends, and the armor you wore to survive it feels too heavy to lift off your shoulders. You hope the door stays closed, that no one asks how you are, because you do not have the energy to perform the version of yourself that made it through.
But the light does not require a performance. It saw the woman who wept at its feet, wiping them with her hair, too broken to speak, and it said her many sins were forgiven because her great love had shown.
You do not need to explain your exhaustion to be held. The light sees the tears you are holding back and calls it faith.
Go in peace. The mask was never the point.
