You Do Not Need to Bleed
The house is quiet now, but the weight in your chest is louder than the silence. You stay because leaving feels like admitting the light has gone out, as if your endurance is the only thing holding the pieces together.
But the light does not need you to break yourself to prove it exists. There was a woman who reached through a crowd just to touch the edge of a garment, trembling after years of slow bleeding, thinking she had to suffer in silence to be worthy.
He stopped everything. He turned and called her 'Daughter' and told her to go in peace, freed from her suffering.
Your faith has healed you — not your tolerance for pain. The light is not asking you to bleed out on the floor to prove you love it.
It is asking you to stand up. Peace is not the absence of conflict; it is the presence of your own wholeness.
