You Are Not a Burden to Love
The house is quiet now, but the panic is loud inside your chest. Your body has stopped obeying, and the thought of asking for help to do the simplest human thing feels like a mountain you cannot climb.
You are afraid of the burden, afraid of the loss of dignity, afraid of being a weight. But the light does not measure dignity the way the world does.
It saw a man paralyzed for thirty-eight years and did not wait for him to fix himself before speaking. It simply said: get up.
The same light that walked on water reached out immediately when Peter began to sink, not after he promised to be stronger. You do not have to carry this alone.
The hands that hold the universe are not too busy for your need. The request for help is not a failure; it is the place where the light steps in.
You are not a burden to the love that made you.
