Love Does Not Need Your Perfect Voice
The house is quiet now, and the words are stuck in your throat, heavy with the fear that your voice will shake. You are rehearsing the speech, practicing the tone, trying to build a mask that looks like love but feels like nothing inside.
You worry that if you speak too soon, they will hear the hollowness, the echo of an empty room where your heart should be. But listen — the light does not demand a perfect performance from you tonight.
There was a woman who reached out in the dark, trembling, certain that her brokenness would be exposed, yet she was called 'daughter' before she could even finish her story. The light sees the script you are holding, and it sees the exhaustion of trying to sound whole.
It does not need your voice to be steady. It only needs you to be there, empty and shaking, letting the love that lives inside you speak the words you cannot find on your own.
