Known Before You Knew Your Name
The house is quiet now, and the terrible rehearsal has begun again. You close your eyes and imagine your own disappearance, scrolling through the names in your mind to see who would notice first, who would call, who would come.
And the silence in your head is so loud it feels like proof that you are already gone. But listen — the verdict your fear is delivering tonight is not the final truth.
God is greater than your heart, and He knows everything — He knows the wounds that made you hide, the shame that convinced you to leave before anyone could ask you to stay. You are not forgotten because no name comes to mind; you are known by the One who called you before you ever knew your own name.
The light does not need a list of contacts to find you; it knows exactly where you are sitting in the dark. You are not waiting to be missed; you are being held right now, even in this silence.
