Rest While the Light Fills You
The house is quiet now, and the silence feels heavy enough to crush you. You are lying here wondering if your constant fatigue means you have nothing left to give the people who love you.
But the light does not require your energy to stay present. It was there before you were tired, and it remains when you are empty.
Jesus sat by a well once, too weary even to draw water, yet he offered living water to the one who approached. Your exhaustion is not a failure of love.
It is simply the human condition of being a vessel that needs refilling. The light is not waiting for you to perform; it is waiting to fill you while you rest.
You do not have to manufacture strength to be worthy of connection. The very fact that you are still here, breathing in the dark, is enough.
