The Father Ran Before You Spoke
The house is quiet now, and the memory of the exact moment you stopped trying feels heavier than the darkness itself. You remember the silence that fell when you decided the fight was no longer worth the cost.
But listen — the light was already there in that surrender, waiting beneath the exhaustion. There is a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off, and before the apology could even form on the boy's lips, the father ran.
He did not wait for you to stand up. He did not wait for you to fix yourself.
He ran to meet you exactly where you fell. The kingdom belongs to the poor in spirit, to those who have nothing left to offer but their emptiness.
You are that light, even in the giving up.
