The Love That Runs Before You Can
The house is quiet, but your heart is racing against the silence. You are lying here wondering what will happen if the cry comes tonight—what will happen if they need something you simply do not have left to give.
The terror whispers that you are running on empty, that the well is dry and the next demand will break you. But listen.
There was a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off. He ran.
Before the apology, before the speech—he ran. He did not wait for strength to return.
He did not calculate the cost. He moved from a place of pure, unthinking love.
That love is not yours to generate. It is already inside you, waiting to be drawn upon.
You are not the source; you are the vessel. And the Source does not run dry in the dark.
The light within you is greater than the exhaustion you feel right now. It is enough for this hour.
It is enough for the next cry. You will not be asked to give what you do not have, because the love that runs to meet them is not yours alone.
