The Light Loves the Real You
The house is quiet now, and the mask feels heavy on your face. You are terrified that if you stop performing your pain, the people who love you will realize you are fine and simply walk away.
But the light does not love the performance. It loves the person underneath.
There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world — even when that person is silent, even when they are still. You came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord, not from the approval of others.
If you stop acting, you do not become unlovable. You become real.
And the real you is the only thing the light ever wanted to hold.
