The Poison Meets The Light
The day is ending, and the armor finally comes off. You hear your own voice offering comfort to someone you love, using the exact cruel phrase they once used to break you.
The panic rises — the realization that the poison has taken root in your tenderness. But listen.
The light sees this moment not as a failure, but as the first true sight of the trap. Neither do I condemn you.
The voice that spoke to the woman caught in the act speaks to you now: Go. Leave that life of sin.
The poison does not get the final word. The light is already pulling the weed from the soil of your heart.
You are not what you just said. You are the one who heard it, recognized it, and chose to stop.
