The Voice Before The First Lie
The house is quiet now, and the mask you wore all day has finally slipped from your face. In this sudden silence, a panic rises—not because you are alone, but because you realize you cannot remember what your own voice sounds like when it isn't performing for someone else.
You have spent so many hours shaping your words to fit the expectations of others that the sound of your true self has become a stranger to you. But listen closely to the stillness.
The light does not need your performance. It is waiting for the raw, unpolished sound of you simply existing.
There is a voice inside you that has never been tired, a voice that speaks only truth because it has nothing to prove. You do not need to find it by shouting or striving.
You only need to stop pretending long enough to hear the whisper that was there before the first lie. The darkness is gathering outside, but the light within is wide awake.
