The Light Never Left the Room
The house is quiet now, and the inventory of the day has begun. You are lying here wondering if the love you felt was real, or if you invented it to survive the cold.
You trace the memory of a hand that is no longer there, and you fear your own heart made it up. But listen — the light does not vanish just because the person who carried it walked away.
What you felt was not a trick of your mind. It was a glimpse of the Father's love moving through human hands.
That love was real. It was true.
And it has not ceased to exist just because the vessel broke. You did not imagine the warmth.
You are simply sitting in the dark, waiting for your eyes to adjust to a light that never left the room.
