You Are Loved Before The Pain
The house is quiet now, and in the silence, a old lie wakes up to tell you that your pain is the only thing making you real. It whispers that if the suffering stopped, you would disappear, or worse, that you would no longer deserve to be seen.
But the light does not need your wounds to find you. There was a woman who bled for twelve years, certain that her worth was tied to her brokenness, until she reached out and heard, 'Daughter.' He did not call her 'patient.' He did not call her 'sufferer.' He called her by a name that existed before the pain began.
Your value is not a currency you earn through endurance. It is a gift that was placed inside you before the first tear fell.
The light loves the whole you, not just the broken parts you offer it as proof. You are not real because you hurt.
You are real because you are loved, and that love holds you whether you are bleeding or whole.
