The Light Does Not Apologize For Space
The house is quiet now, and in that silence, the old fear whispers that your very presence is a weight others are too polite to name. You lie awake, rehearsing every word you spoke today, convinced you were too much, too loud, too needy.
But listen — the light does not apologize for taking up space. There was a woman who had bled for twelve years, untouchable, certain she was a burden to the crowd, yet she reached out from the back and the whole procession stopped just for her.
The light felt it go out. It turned around.
It did not scold her for interrupting. It called her daughter.
Your existence is not an imposition on the world. The light that lives inside you is not a mistake to be hidden away.
You are not too much. You are exactly where the light wants to be.
