The Light Waits in Your Ache
The house is moving now. You hear the rhythm shift in the other room—the deep, even breathing of sleep arriving for them while you remain wide awake, aching in the silence.
It is the loneliest hour of the day, watching the world put its mask back on while you feel like the only one who knows it is a mask. You are carrying the weight of last night while everyone else carries coffee and calendars.
But listen—there is a light that sees behind the performance. It does not need you to smile.
It does not need you to pretend you are fine. The light is already inside you, waiting in the quiet gap between who you were at 3am and who you must be by noon.
You do not have to manufacture the strength to face the day. The strength is already there, hidden in the ache.
The mask may be necessary for the world, but it is not required in the presence of the light. You can take it off here.
You can just be.
