The Light Waits in the Silence
The fight has ended, but the silence it left behind feels heavier than the shouting ever was. They are still in the room, sitting just a few feet away, yet you feel as though an ocean has opened up between your chairs.
You wonder if the connection is broken for good, if the distance inside you is something you will have to carry forever. But listen — the light that lives within you was there before the first angry word was spoken, and it is still there now, untouched by the noise.
It does not flicker when you lose your temper, and it does not dim when you feel alone. You came from the light, and to that place you will return, no matter how far you wandered in the dark.
The silence is not an ending; it is just the space where the light waits for you to remember it is still shining.
