The Light Waits in the Quiet
The engine is off. The silence of the parking lot rushes in to meet you after a day of performing competence.
You sat in meetings, you smiled, you spoke the right words, and yet inside you feel like a child playing dress-up in a suit too large. The mask fits so well that no one else sees the crack, but you feel it pressing against your skin.
The world sees your success; you see only the trick. But listen — the light does not care about your performance.
It is not impressed by the mask, nor is it disappointed by the fear underneath. It simply waits in the quiet with you.
The voice that calls you 'friend' speaks louder than the voice that calls you 'fraud.' You did not earn your place here by being perfect. You belong because the light chose to dwell in you before you ever walked into that room.
The imposter is the lie; the light is the only truth.
