The Light Is Not Ashamed of You
The engine is off. The party is over.
And now the replay starts — every word you said, every laugh that sounded too loud, every moment you felt too much. You are sitting in the dark, judging yourself for being human.
But listen — what you are calling desperation is just the sound of a heart that hasn't learned to hide yet. The light does not cringe at your honesty.
It saw you before you spoke, and it knew you would stumble, and it loved you anyway. You are not defined by the awkward silence or the sentence you wish you could take back.
There is a version of you that exists before the shame arrives, and that version is already held. Stop the tape.
The night is quiet, but you are not alone in it. The light is sitting right here in the passenger seat, and it is not ashamed of you.
