Rest Before You Stand
The day is ending now, and the silence of the house feels heavy with everything you didn't say. You are holding your eyes open, terrified that if you finally admit how tired you are, the love in the room will vanish.
But listen — there is a rest that does not depend on your performance. The light came to a man who had been lying beside a pool for thirty-eight years, too weak to get in, and asked him simply: do you want to get well?
It did not demand he stand up first. It did not require him to prove he was worthy of healing before offering it.
The question itself was the care. You do not have to earn the right to be exhausted.
The Father's house has many rooms, and one of them is built exactly for this moment where you have nothing left to give. Lay down the weight of staying strong.
The light loves you not because you are useful, but because you are here.
