Love Is Not A Loan To Repay
The day is ending, and with it comes the quiet terror that the love you received was a loan you can never repay. You sit in the exhale, calculating the debt, convinced that grace comes with an interest rate you cannot afford.
But listen — the Father does not keep ledgers of what He has given. There was a father who saw his son coming home, and before the apology could be spoken, he ran.
He did not hand him a bill. He called for a feast.
Love is not a transaction to be settled. It is a gift that refuses to be returned.
You are not a debtor begging for more time. You are a child who has been known by name before the first stone was laid.
