Eat Now, The Future Is Held
The day is ending, and the simplest choice feels like a betrayal. You stand before the open door of the kitchen, paralyzed by what to eat, because every option seems to close a path you haven't walked yet.
You are trying to feed a self that does not exist, a future version of you that you imagine will be disappointed by this meal. But the light does not require you to be perfect before you can be fed.
There was a woman who had bled for twelve years, spent everything she had, and reached out just to touch the edge of a robe. She did not have a plan.
She did not have a future mapped out. She only had the need of this exact moment.
And the light stopped the whole crowd to turn to her and say: daughter. Your faith has healed you.
Go in peace. The paralysis breaks when you realize the light is not waiting for your perfect choice.
It is already here, in the ordinary act of breaking bread. You do not have to earn the right to eat tonight.
The kingdom belongs to those who are hungry right now, not to those who have figured out tomorrow. Eat what is in front of you.
The self you are becoming is already held.
