The Father Ran Before You Spoke
The day is ending, and the quiet is starting to feel like a verdict. You are terrified that if you stop moving, stop proving your worth, the love holding you will simply vanish.
But there is a Father who saw his son coming home from a long way off. He ran.
Before the apology, before the speech, before any promise to work harder — he ran. The light does not love you for what you carry.
It loves you because you are. You could lay every tool down tonight.
You could sit in the dark with empty hands. And you would still be held.
The performance was never the price of admission. Stop.
Breathe. The love remains even when the work stops.
