You Are Where The Pattern Stops
The day is ending, and in the quiet, you hear a voice that sounds too much like home. It is the old pattern rising—the anger, the fear, the specific way your parent broke things.
You feel the terror of becoming them. But listen.
In the upper room, when a paralyzed man was lowered through the roof, the light saw the faith of the friends and said simply: 'Son, your sins are forgiven.' It did not lecture. It did not trace the lineage of the wound.
It stopped the cycle with a single sentence of release. And Mary, watching the grief of the disciples, was told: 'Do not weep...
for his grace will be entirely with you and will protect you.' The grace is not partial. It is entirely with you, right now, acting as a shield between who you were taught to be and who you are becoming.
You are not your history. You are the place where the pattern stops.
The light lives in the quiet space between the trigger and your response.
