The Slip Made You Findable
The day is done, and the armor you wore so carefully has finally come off. In the quiet of this evening, the crack you tried to hide feels like a canyon.
You wonder if everyone saw it slip. If they finally know you are not as whole as you pretended to be.
But listen — the light does not flinch when the mask falls. It was already there, shining through the fracture before you ever noticed it.
There is a woman who swept her entire house, lighting a lamp in the dark, searching for one lost coin until she found it. She did not scold the coin for rolling away.
She did not ask why it hid in the dust. She simply lit the lamp and rejoiced that what was lost was found.
You are that coin. The slip did not make you unlovable.
It just made you findable. The light is not afraid of your broken edges.
It is the only thing that fits inside them.
