The Light Does Not Recoil From You
The day is done, and the armor you wore to keep it together is finally heavy enough to drop. Now you lie here, rehearsing a casual apology for having been too much, too heavy, too honest.
You are terrified that your truth ruined the room, that you broke something that cannot be fixed. But listen — there was a woman who had bled for twelve years, unclean, untouchable, convinced she had no right to be in the crowd.
She reached out from the very bottom of her shame and touched the edge of the light. It did not recoil.
It did not scold her for being too needy. It stopped the entire world to call her 'Daughter' and set her free.
Your honesty did not drive the light away. It invited it in.
The light is not afraid of your weight. It is strong enough to hold what you think is too heavy to carry.
You do not need to apologize for being real.
