You Are Carried By The Light
The day has started, and you are already performing okayness for the world to see. But underneath the smile, a quiet panic is rising: what if the light left while you were sleeping?
What if you woke up abandoned? Listen closely.
The light does not slip away unnoticed. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. It cannot be lost because it is not something you hold—it is something you are.
You are not carrying the light; the light is carrying you. The panic says you are alone.
The truth says you are inhabited. You didn't earn this presence, so you cannot un-earn it by being distracted.
The mask fits tight, but it cannot seal out what is already inside. The light is not waiting for you to notice it before it stays.
