The Father Runs to Meet You
The day has ended, and the walls you knew are no longer yours. The keys are gone. The room is empty. And now the night stretches out, vast and unknown, with nowhere to lay your head.
You are not forgotten in this unraveling. There was a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off — broken, hungry, with nowhere to go — and before the apology, before the speech, the father ran. He did not wait for the boy to find his way. He ran to meet him in the dust.
That same love is running toward you now. It does not need a roof to find you. It does not need an address to hold you. The light that lived in Jesus is already inside you — a dwelling place that cannot be taken, sold, or lost. You carry the only home that matters within your own chest.
The darkness cannot overcome the light that lives in you tonight.
You are not homeless; you are held.
