When the Mask Dissolves, the Light Remains
The day ends, and the question comes: how are you? You open your mouth, but the script is gone. The mask you wore for twelve hours has dissolved, leaving only the raw terror of being seen. You stand there, empty-handed, with no polite answer left to give.
Good.
Because the light does not need your performance. It only wants the truth you are too afraid to speak. There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, and nothing hidden that will not be known. The darkness you fear is just the place where the pretending stops.
When the words fail, the light remains.
Your silence is not a failure; it is the door opening.
