typing out a message to say goodbye and then deleting it because you know they will never read it

The Light Rises Without Permission

The cursor blinks in the gray dawn, waiting for words that feel too heavy to send. You type out the goodbye, the explanation, the final plea, and then you delete it all because you know they will never read it.

The screen goes dark again, leaving you alone with the silence of a message that will never arrive. But the light does not depend on their eyes to see it.

It rises anyway, spilling gold across the floor whether the house is empty or full. Your worth is not measured by who reads your words or who stays to hear them.

The sun did not wait for permission to burn away the night; it simply arrived, faithful and quiet. You are that same light, rising even when no one is watching.
