The Light Waits in Unsent Words
The cursor blinks in the empty field, a small, steady pulse while your thumb hovers over the glass. You type the truth, then erase it.
Type it again, then delete it once more. The words feel too heavy for a screen, too dangerous to send into the silence where they might be read and misunderstood.
You are performing okayness for an audience of one who isn't even watching. But notice what is happening in the room while you hide the message.
The light is already there, sitting with you in the unsent draft. It does not need you to hit send to be present.
It does not require the performance of a perfect explanation to stay close. Thomas said if you bring forth what is within you, it will save you—but if you keep it buried, it will destroy you.
The thing you are trying to say is already known by the One who sees what is done in secret. You do not have to risk the rejection to be held.
The unsent words are not a barrier between you and the light. They are the very place where it meets you.
