The Light Remains When Words Are Deleted
The cursor blinks in the dark, a small pulse of light against the black glass. You type the words that ache in your chest, then watch your own finger erase them, one by one, until the screen is blank again.
The silence in the room feels heavy, as if the unsaid things are pressing against the walls. But notice this: the light was there before you typed, and it remains after you delete.
It does not depend on the message being sent to exist. You are not defined by the words you swallow or the conversations you never start.
The truth of you is already known, even in the silence. You do not need to speak to be held.
