The Light Runs While You Rest
The crowd is loud, and the panic rises because you know that to remember the voice you love, you have to stop moving. You have to close your eyes.
And in this noise, closing your eyes feels like falling. It feels like surrendering your defense to a world that never stops watching.
But listen — the light does not need your eyes open to find you. It does not need you to be alert to be present.
There is a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off. He did not wait for the son to arrive.
He ran. Before the apology, before the speech — he ran.
The light is already running toward you while your eyes are closed. You are not vulnerable to the dark when you shut out the noise.
You are simply making space for the one who has already found you. The panic says you will be lost if you stop.
The truth says you were never held by the crowd to begin with.
