being bullied at school and dreading the morning alarm

The Light Runs Toward Your Fear

The alarm is about to ring, and your stomach is already twisting into a knot before your feet even touch the floor. You know the hallway waits with its loud voices and its cruel eyes, and the thought of walking back into that noise makes you want to pull the covers over your head and never emerge.

But listen — the sun is rising outside your window right now, not because you earned it, but because the light refuses to let the night have the final say. There is a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off, and before the boy could even apologize or explain the mess he'd made, the father ran to meet him.

That same love is running toward you this morning, not waiting for you to be brave, but meeting you in your fear. The light that lived in Jesus lives inside you, and it is stronger than every whisper they speak and every shove they give.

You do not have to face the bullies alone, because the one who calmed the storm is walking right beside you into that school.
