Still Held After The Awkward Silence
The afternoon sun is unforgiving, exposing every dust mote and every word you wish you could swallow whole. You are replaying that one awkward pause, convinced it defined you, certain that everyone around you is quietly laughing at your incompetence.
But the light sees you with a clarity that cuts through the noise of your own shame. It saw you before you spoke, and it sees you now, long after the silence has faded.
Neither do you condemn yourself, for the verdict of the crowd is not the final word. The thing you are trying to hide is already known, and yet you are still here, still held.
Stop trying to erase the moment and simply remain in the one who sees you fully.
